The top 5 fields of action for insurance 4.0

Meta study of ConVista summarizes latest studies.

As part of his bachelor thesis, ConVista employee David Ticmeanu has analyzed the current recommendations for the future of insurance. His objective was to provide an overview on today’s hot topics such as apps, data protection, big data, cloud, KI and so on. In the following section you can read how he approached the study and how he identified the most important topics:

In a pre-selection, the ConVista meta-study looked at nine studies based on the topic of Insurance 4.0. Out of these nine studies, five were selected based on criteria such as currency, number of respondents, content, author and other criteria, in order to guarantee good quality recommended action points for the insurance industry. The meta-study also summarized the current levels of knowledge based on various other studies.

In its investigation, the meta-study identified ten fields of action deduced from the single studies (apps/mobile, data protection, big data, Cloud, Internet of Things, company culture, omni-channel, Insurtechs, AI, Work 4.0) and their recommendations for action.

In addition to the summary of the studies’ recommendations for action, the meta-analysis provides an overview of the current state of the insurance industry’s action points (by means of statistics), Ticmeanu's own recommendation for action, and outlook of the future.
